SUBMISSIONS

It is recommended that you send no more than five poems in each submission. We aren't considering fiction at the present time. Work not accompanied by a self-addressed stamped envelope will not be returned. The best way to judge our editorial intentions is to look at a copy of the magazine. Sample copies are available for $15 from the address below. Our response time varies between two weeks and six months. Because New American Writing is an annual publication, the best time to submit is from September 1 to January 15. We do not consider manuscripts submitted by e-mail.
