SUBMISSIONS

It is recommended that you send no more than five poems in each submission. Fiction should not exceed 30 pages in length. Work not accompanied by a self-addressed stamped envelope will not be returned. The best way to judge our editorial intentions is to look at a copy of the magazine. Sample copies are available for $15 from the address below. Our response time varies between two weeks and six months. Because New American Writing is an annual publication, the best time to submit is from June to January. We do not consider manuscripts submitted by e-mail.
