I believe that writing poetry has kept me from going bald.
I believe Goofy is a horse, not a dog.
I believe in the Holy Ghost, but not the Holy Spirit.
I believe that James Brown is a woman.
I believe yesterday was the day before the last day of the rest of your life.
I believe that everything happens by mistake
           that there is no fate
           that Destiny is a young woman who works for a travel agency
           in Ottawa
I believe that all walls are green and serve to keep the floors and ceiling
           apart just as mistakes drive a wedge between the real and
           the imagined
I believe that any woman named Coco is a spy for a foreign government.
I believe the Invisible Man was also Indivisible.
I believe that Snap, Crackle, and Pop are gay.
I believe that when I play with the keyless remote in my pocket, even
           when I’m miles from my car, the locks will pop open.
I believe that fish and other sea creatures are not meant to be eaten
           by humans.
I believe that non-possession is 1/10th of the law.
I believe the statues are crying because the paintings are unhappy.
